Kataang - Wolfwhistle

Officially a new record, ladies and gents: the longest I've ever spent on a piece. Two and a bit days.
Why?
Because first, I decided to master the use of the path tool on GIMP. You know, the one that smooths out your lines?
AWESOME.

Anyway.
This is a commissiony-gift-like thing for , the sketch of which is posted in my scrapbook. I was asked to do a Kataang wedding (at this point, my Kataanger following squeals at an obnoxiously loud level).
And, as per usual, I decided to ruin the moment.
Or, rather, Toph does, with an extremely loud wolfwhistle from the front row.
The funky symbols plastered across their foreheads are from Book 1.15 (Bato of the Water Tribe). As they mark a 'right of passage' in the Southern Water Tribe, I thought it would make sense that they'd be used in this instance, another right of passage. Sort of. Not really. But they looked nice, so I thought what the heck.
What's that in Aang's hand? Engagement necklace! Yaaaaaaaaay!
My apologies for the use of the infamous "smarm brows".

So, I shall now shut up, and allow you to bask in the glorified sweetness that is Kataang!
