Yaaaaaaaaaaay! I finally found some!

The University of York doesn't have an art department, and trying to find their super secret art society meetings is so bloody difficult. I got lost like, three times. Anyway. I found it! I paid membership! And I went!
...but my difficult housemate came with me. And sat there the whole time talking at me about how to draw. Which would be really nice if he were a little less of an arrogant tit about it. And I wasn't trying to concentrate on drawing butts. And if there were anything I thought I could learn off of him.

Hello, friends!

As you fair few whom have been privy to the glorious pages of my life well know, I've finally gotten out of that Bioarchaeology course that made me so miserable and am going to try out for art school.
HOORAY FOR LIFELONG CRIPPLING DEBTS TO THE GOVERNMENT! :D
Anyway. I've got three months to get the money together and come up with a portfolio all on my onesies. Let's see how quickly this goes tits up.

I was wondering if any of you had any crumbs of wisdom that you could share with me on the process of getting into an illustration course? I'm feeling pretty clueless.

Hello, loyal followers.

I would like to take up some of your inbox space to issue a public apology to the lovely :iconspadiekitchenqueen:

So here is an example of where I've royally fucked up.

This lovely girl commissioned me to draw her OCs at the beginning of the year, and I have no idea what happened but let's just say that art certainly didn't.
I've learned recently that she's having a really tough time at the minute, and that my total and utter carelessness has really not helped.
Neither, apparently, does my language, since even my apologies ended up sounding really sarcastic and that's horrible. So, I suck, and hopefully I can draw these puppies for her at last, and maybe they'll cheer her up a little. Hopefully.

I am also aware that repeatedly saying sorry doesn't help either, and certainly won't make up for my less than professional behavior.

Spadie, I hope you're okay and that everything gets better soon. 

(also: any of you who are friends with this wonderfully patient individual, please blast me with hate and BY FUCK DO NOT COMMISSION ME UNTIL I FINISH THAT WHICH WHAT I SAID THAT I WOULD)
